Global plug-in machine nozzle is an important component used in automated patch equipment. Its main function is to remove surface mount components from the feeder and place them on the PCB board. The structural principle of the nozzle includes the inflation principle and the suction cup structure: the patch components are sucked by generating or applying negative pressure inside the nozzle. There are multiple small holes on the suction cup installed at the end of the nozzle. When negative pressure is applied to the nozzle cavity, air will be sucked through the small holes on the suction cup, generating negative pressure suction, thereby adsorbing the components.
Types and characteristics of nozzles
Global plug-in machines usually use two types of nozzles:
Straight nozzle : Suitable for assembling and installing square or rectangular parts, with strong suction and strong fixing force, can accurately absorb and position parts, and improve assembly accuracy and efficiency.
Wave nozzle : Adapt to the absorption and positioning of parts of more shapes, with a wavy structure in design, can better absorb parts of various shapes, and can withstand certain dislocation and tilt during assembly to avoid impact or wear between parts. Application scenarios of nozzles
Universal plug-in machine nozzles are widely used in automated patch equipment and are suitable for various surface mount technology (SMT) production lines, especially in the assembly and installation of electronic components, which can improve production efficiency and assembly accuracy.
