It is an important equipment used to sort materials according to different properties or characteristics. It is widely used in the fields of electronic manufacturing, mining, metallurgy, building materials, chemical industry, etc. Its working principle is based on the density, shape and color of the material to achieve sorting. The main working process is as follows:
Feeding: The raw materials to be sorted are fed into the feed port of the sorting machine through a conveyor belt or vibrator.
Sorting device: There are one or more rotating sorting devices inside the sorting machine, usually a cylindrical tower structure. These devices are equipped with sensors that can sense the properties of the material in real time.
Sensor detection: When the material rotates or conveys on the sorting device, the sensor continuously detects the material. The sensor can identify the properties of the material, such as density, shape, color and other information, according to the pre-set sorting parameters.
Sorting decision: According to the detection results of the sensor, the control system of the sorting machine will make a sorting decision and decide to divide the material into two or more categories.
Sorting process: Once the decision is made, the sorting machine will separate the materials through airflow or mechanical devices. High-density materials are usually blown away or separated to one side, while low-density materials are retained on the other side.
Output materials: After sorting, high-quality products and waste materials are separated. High-quality products can be further used for production or sales, while waste materials can be further processed or discarded.
