Coherent Compact SE is a highly reliable, compact diode-pumped solid-state laser (DPSS) designed for industrial marking, engraving, micromachining and scientific research applications. This series of lasers is known for its high beam quality, long life and low maintenance costs, and is suitable for scenarios with high requirements for stability and precision.
1. Core features
(1) High beam quality & stability
Wavelength: typically 532 nm (green light) or 1064 nm (infrared), some models can be optionally 355 nm (ultraviolet).
Beam quality (M²): <1.2 (close to the diffraction limit), suitable for fine processing.
Power stability: ±1% (long term), ensuring processing consistency.
(2) Compact design & industrial-grade durability
Small size: suitable for integration into automated production lines or OEM equipment.
All-solid-state design: no gas or liquid cooling required, vibration and dust resistant.
Long life: >20,000 hours (typical), much higher than lamp-pumped lasers.
(3) Flexibel Pulsatiounsperiod Kontroll
Repetition rate: single pulse to hundreds of kHz (depending on the model).
Adjustable pulse width: nanosecond level (~10–200 ns), suitable for different material processing requirements.
External trigger: supports TTL/analog modulation, compatible with PLC and automation control.
(4) Low operating cost
High electro-optical efficiency (>10%), more energy-efficient than traditional lamp-pumped lasers.
Maintenance-free: no need to replace lamps or gases, reducing downtime.
2. Typical applications
(1) Laser marking & engraving
Metal marking: serial number, QR code, LOGO (stainless steel, aluminum alloy, etc.).
Plastic/ceramic marking: high contrast, no thermal damage.
Micro-engraving of electronic components: PCB, chip identification.
(2) Precision micromachining
Cutting of brittle materials: glass, sapphire, ceramics (UV models are better).
Thin film removal: etching of ITO layer of solar cells and touch screens.
Drilling: high-precision micro-hole processing (such as inkjet printer nozzles).
(3) Scientific research and medical treatment
Fluorescence excitation (532 nm is suitable for biological imaging).
Laser-induced breakdown spectroscopy (LIBS).
Ophthalmic surgery (such as 532 nm for retinal treatment).
